Feels good to be back

I met Jason four years ago today... how weird is that? It was also my last day at the absolutely worst job I've ever had. I'm so glad to be done. And it's been almost a year since I posted... it's weird what can happen in a year even weirder what can happen in four.

We both have new jobs in the city.... which is awesome! We just moved, so it's a longer commute but we'll be able to commute together so it won't be so bad. So I started my job last week and it's pretty hectic because I still don't know what I'm doing, but I love it so far and it's one million times better than my old job even though it's pretty much the exact same job. It wasn't the job I disliked or the members or the girls that worked for me, just the owner of the gym and that ruined everything. Anyway, I really like it here and it is a better job.

Jason's job starts next Sunday. He is being flown to Australia for 10 days of training. I'm jealous already. Then he starts work in the city after Easter. So I've been commuting alone for the past week, but that will end soon. I'm also jealous because he has 3 weeks off before his new job starts. I went straight to work at this one, but oh well.

Since we moved, we've started going to a new church and it's been so freaking amazing! Already, the pastor had me speak in church on Sunday about nutrition. The congregation is mostly Pacific Islanders so they need a lot of nutrition advice because they love their KFC. Jason and I are leading the 18-25 yo group in the church and that kicks off in 2 days. We've also been going to a School of the Super Natural. Needless to say, we spend a lot of evenings in the church.

I'm making friends... finally! So it's been really good, but we have applied for Jason's green card and we're just going to see what happens. I'm going to be back in the States in July for my brother's wedding but I don't think Jason will be able to make it.
