Blahhh

I've been sick all week, which is tragic, and today is going to be a loooooooong day. I have appointments and meetings all day - including a teleconference during my lunch hour - and then right after work I have to go help set up for a fundraiser. After that, I'm going to the Lily Allen concert.

Which is where my issue comes in.

I had to pick an outfit that was comfortable, since I'll be doing a lot of walking, standing, busing, etc., that was also appropriate for work, appropriate for the fundrasier (which is a poker tournament, so it's pretty casual), appropriate for the concert, AND ready for grey and possibly rainy weather.

You see my dilemma, yes?

I ended up with my grey cord mini, black patterned tights, black fake-Uggs, and the black t-shirt from here.

Now, we all know the rule about not wearing the concert t-shirt to school the next day, as well as the rule about not wearing the band's t-shirt when you're seeing them in concert. (lillaura includes not wearing a t-shirt that advertises the place you're vacationing, eg. BAR HARBOR! when you're actually in Bar Harbor.)

BUT. The rule about wearing another band or artist's t-shirt to a concert is less clear. I've done it in the past, but for some reason, I'm feeling unsure about it today.

Poll Wardrobe Choices

(This is me killing time while I'm sitting at the front desk, by the way. I'm pretending I don't feel like total crap. It isn't really working.)

music, polls, work, general health, real life omg
