Dad's out of the ICU. They moved him to a regular room today. He looked like his old self today, whereas he was very weak and tired yesterday, and looked incredibly small in his hospital bed, hooked up to all of the monitors.
I am glad he was feeling better today, because, while I already took a day off to stay here today, I would have sent Jon home and stayed until he was out of the ICU. I feel less guilty about leaving today now.
He was up and walking around today, and a physical therapist came in to tell him some simple exercises for stimulating his heart without too much stress.
So we're home now, and naturally I'm still worried about him, but he looked really good today, so that makes me happy.
