It was a hectic but fun weekend. :)
Friday I headed over to Jon's office after I got out at 4, and I played Wii with him and the guys for a few hours. Then I picked up P Dhabs (Punjabi Dhaba, the Indian place in Inman Square) for dinner. After he came home, he played a bit of Zelda, and we went to bed.
Saturday we did nothing all day. Jon played Zelda for like 7 hours, and I watched. It was wonderful.
Sunday we headed up to Jon's parents'. We hung out for a bit, went on a last-minute shopping trip for the yankee swap that I wasn't really aware of, and wrapped presents. Then we went to Jon's cousin's place (they made me gluten-free bread!!!).
Christmas morning we opened presents (I got awesome stuff, seriously). It was a Very ThinkGeek Christmas. :) Then we vamoosed and were on our way to my dad's. We opened presents there after I commandeered their candy canes, and then headed to Mom's. We ate dinner, opened presents, and played Wii Sports (my grandparents tried out the bowling!). Aunt Kathie and her family came over and we had a grand old time.
That evening we drove to NJ to Jon's brother's place, and we found out they had gotten Jon a PS2 and Guitar Hero 2. I was really excited! :)
We spent some time playing with the kids at breakfast and then had an adventure getting home.
Jon: "... we're in the Bronx."
Me: "... Crap."
Jon: "Well, let's go to the zoo!"
Jon gave me
The Clap for Christmas. :) This is an inside joke and I don't feel like explaining it, but suffice to say it was really sweet and cute and I love him! He also got me a set of measuring cups... I was looking at them in Macy's, and he must have gotten them when he went back there the next day. He is the sweetest.
Jon also got me
this awesome candle, and three T-shirts from Threadless: "Johnny was a chemist's son...", "Rub me on your butt!" (it's a bar of soap saying this), and "So far, this is the oldest I've ever been". :) :) :) He is seriously the best. I hope he liked my presents as much.
Mom got me a bunch of gift cards (Shaw's, Circuit City, Starbucks), Dad got me an iPod dock (I don't remember the name of it) that's portable.
And I'll list the rest later because I should really get back to work now.
