BODYMASSAGE! Now with Friday Five^2!
So I headed over to girliegoalie's yesterday for a much-needed massage. It was really relaxing, and I should have done this a long time ago. I felt all warbly afterward. Today? My back muscles especially are wicked sore (feels like there are bruises all over my back) (I also "bruise", even if there is no mark, very easily, so it's not her fault!). But it was totally worth it! I'm drinking a shit-ton of water today.
So the next two weeks or so will go a little bit something like this:
Tonight: Poker.
Tomorrow: Laura and Bill's. A whole bunch of RPI people I know and love will be there, hooray! amberle85 and Seb are bringing Puerto Rico. Hooray again, I say!
Sunday: Laundry probably.
Monday: Wings. Chicken good!
Tuesday: Blargh?
Wednesday: Date night! :)
Thursday: Wargle?
Friday: Poker probably.
Saturday: Head down to CT. Do some more laundry?
Sunday: Get up at ass-o'clock in the morning to fly out to sunny LA!
Through Saturday: Loads of fun with the family in Manhattan Beach, CA... including seeing Jay Leno's standup act at the Comedy and Magic Club in Redondo Beach, swimming, Coffee Bean Mocha Blendeds (I got so addicted to them the first time I was out there, and now my uncle lives closer to the coffee shop!).
Sunday: Fly back to CT. Drive home in a post-vacation daze.
Monday: Back to the grind.
I'm so excited! 9 days now!
1. Do you smoke? HECKS no.
2. Are you more likely to be caught humming, whistling or singing to yourself? Ummm, is there an all of the above option? I hum when I'm on the phone, whistle if no one else is around, and sing often. :)
3. Have you ever been to New Orleans? Nope.
4. When is the last time you saw the sun rise? It does that?!? Probably not for a very long time.
5. Can you swim? Yeah, not great, but I don't drown either.
Apparently there are two Friday Fives? This is getting out of hand.
1. Are you named after anyone? My first name is Karen because my mom liked the name. My middle name is May, after my great grandmother, Edna May (good thing my mom didn't pick Edna, huh?). ;)
2. Do you have your children's names picked out already? If so, is there any significance? Nope.
3. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been? Ummmmm, Karl? Kevin? Kancho? (hahahaha, Oh I crack myself up)
4. If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why? Know what? I used to hate my name when I was a kid. But I'm kinda fond of it now. I think I'd either stick with what I know, or go crazy with an Irish Gaelic name like Siobhan.
5. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do w/ your name constantly? YES. I f-ing hate it when people spell my name with a C. It drives me nutso.
