So I decided today that I would start taking some vitamins recommended to prevent migraines (specifically the B complex and Magnesium), and stop taking the amitriptyline. Why? Well, I don't seem to be getting very many migraines lately, so it seemed like a good time to try it and see what happens. Also, I feel like the amitriptyline is robbing me of certain things in life, such as the ability to lose some freakin' weight, and oh I dunno, maybe be able to get up in the morning when the alarm goes off? Also, I get the dry mouth side effect really badly, so I'm thirsty all the time. It's a bitch. So, I guess I'll find out in a little while if this works or not.
I made Szechuan Tofu Stirfry for dinner with carrots, broccoli, snap peas, and sesame seeds. It seemed like it should come out ok, but it's making my tummy feel icky. Too much chili oil? Anyway, Chen Kenichi would be appalled.
OH, I bought a replacement network card for my laptop today, and also some memory. The network card problem was just ridiculous, so I needed the card, and they gave me a really good deal on the RAM since I was already placing the order with them (and waived shipping). Hope it comes in soon so's I can stop swearing at my laptop and complaining to people about it. Johnny said something about it possibly having a "dongle", and of course I cracked up at that. ;)
