Still prone to breaking out in clammy sweats at the least effort, but my head finally feels back to normal and I can start GETTING STUFF DONE again!
katequicksilvr seems to spend more time clearing her throat than hacking, so it seems we're both on the mend
Celbrating Discardia (
http://www.metagrrrl.com/discardia/) is difficult when you've had so much stuff "that you might need one day" for so long, and we still need more plastic storage boxes but it's getting better. We managed to get a bit of stuff in the bedroom & back room organized and put away and a lot thrown out or put in the give away pile. After which, since we've both been jonesing for Taco Bell, we broke down and went - satisfied the cravings and diets be damned!
I think I've finally figured out how to fix the washer, but I need blue Loctite to hold a bolt in place. (Blue allows you to force the fitting back out again, red requires heat to loosen it.) Anyway, I hope tomorrow we'll have a washing machine again. Small steps, but much better than lying on my butt feeling lousy all day.
Finished "Vineyard Chill," the final Martha's Vineyard mystery by Philip R. Craig and the latest "Kitty the Werewolf" book by Carrie Vaughn - the latter sounds silly but they're really quite good and compare favorably to Kelley Armstrong's "Women of the Otherworld" series. I've been going through about a book a day since I've been recovering so hopefully my future selections from the library will last me a bit longer now that I'm able to do more.
