*Insert big sigh of relief here*

It is so Friday! Gah, knowing that the weekend has arrived has got to be one of the best feelings in the world... seriously. And today is another one of those beautiful days where you just want to lay out in the grass in the sun and never move again. Just wanna drink in the smell in the air and listen to some good music.

I think I am literally falling in love with the south. I love the landscape, I love the people, I love the food, I love the pride, I love the traditions. I am in a religion of southern appalachia class and everytime we watch a videop about appalachia my heart really does swell with pride and a sense of home. I know bethany just talked about this with texas, but I really feel like I belong to the south in general. I have never met better people in the world. Everything moves with the flow that seems to pulse through everything

Misty sunrise in my hometown,
Rows of cotton bout knee high,
Mrs. Baker down the dirt road,
Still got clothes out on the line,

Erwin Nichols there with Judge Lee,
Playin checkers at the gin,
When I dream about the southland,
This is where it all begins

From Carolina down to Georgia,
Smell the jasmine and magnolia,
Sleepy Sweet home Alabama,
Roll tide roll,
Muddy water, Misssissippi,
Blessed Graceland whispers to me,
Carry on, Carry on,
Sweet Southern Comfort carry on,

Catchin catfish on the river,
Chasin fireflies by the creek,
Kissin Gary Williams sister,
On the porch Homecomin week,

With rusty cars and weeping willows,
Keepin watch out in the yard,
Just a snapshot of downhome Dixie,
Could be anywhere you are,

In Carolina or in Georgia,
Open arms are waitin for ya,
Louisianna yellow rose of San Antone,
Arkansas, Mississippi,
Old man river whispers to me,
Carry on, Carry on,
Sweet Southern Comfort carry on,

As I sit here I'm surrounded,
By these priceless memories,
I don't have to think about it,
There's no place I'd rather be,

In Carolina or in Georgia,
Smell the jasmine and magnolia,
Sleepy Sweet home Alabama,
Roll tide roll,
Muddy water, Misssissippi,
Blessed Graceland whispers to me,
Carry on, Carry on,
Sweet Southern Comfort,
Carry on, Carry on,
Sweet Southern Comfort carry on

Okay, enough about that. Onto another not, tonight I am goin to go see Al, Michael, and Evan in A Midsummer Night's Dream. I am so jazzed. Plus, I have some nostalgiac ties to this play. The summer after freshman year, me, pete, and josh all went to go see this play at Shakespeare in the Park right before the lock-in at St. Rita's. It was a great night. I remember gettin in the Luby's van and both the boys kept smelling me cause they said I smelled like sunflowers... so silly. They had forgotten to put deodorant on so Mr. Luby stopped at a gas station to get them some! Then we went to go see the play and it was great cause it was in Trinity park at sunset in the middle of summer. The play was done in the round and it was so neat. I will never forget that night. It is one of my favorite memories. I can remember all the smells and the colors and the heat. i wanna keep it forever...

speaking of forever, our dear friend alisha is about to enter into a forever thing tomorrow. She is getting married! The first of my friends to get married... it's kinda creepy. Don't get me wrong I am totally jazzed about going to the wedding but it's just so weird that we are doing this now. Scary!!!!

well that's a long entry I will stop now... thanks for listenin!

!LOVE!
