So I'm driving home from church tonight listening to Delilah on the radio (yes I listen to Delilah) and this woman called in who was going through so many awful things in her life. She needed hope and a kind word from someone. The song Delilah played for her reminded me that there are so many people I know right now that could use this same kind of support. I was having a conversation with a friend earlier today about how it seems that many people are stuck in a rut lately. I've been there before too and I know that sometimes all it takes is for someone to reach out to you. Music is so powerful and I thought that the message of this song really spoke to all the people that feel exactly like this woman. I want to share it with all of you in the hopes that it may inspire at least one person to pick themselves up and brush themselves off. Never forget that there are people who care a great deal about you and they are more than happy to listen if you ever need it.
