Hi, enjoyed reading your post and profile on add_me. It seems as though we have a number of things in common. I, too, have been a bad LJ'er for a while but am looking forward to posting more often again. I tend to post a mix of daily updates, rants, funny/humourous observations and I've got a passion for funny icons. I'm 45 yrs young, married to an awesome Welshman, and am NY ex-pat living in Wales, UK.

I'd love to add you to friends. :)

Okay...I tried to comment on your journal "comment to be added" post, and I don't think it let me. So here it is, just in case--in short, happy to friend a fellow Wil Wheaton wannabe-stalker. Looking forward to getting to know you. :)

Doh, sorry about the commenting issue. Will have a look and see if settings need tweaking.

Another Wil Wheaton fan?! *huzzah* :D

Have just friended you. Look forward to getting to know you, too!

Shame that the man is happily married. Drat. Used to have posters of him and New Kids on the Block ALL over my room walls and ceiling when I was a teen.

And I have absolutely no shame in admitting to either. *chuckles* Of course, haven't had a chance to run into Wil lately, but I did see NKOTB in concert a couple of years back and, in retrospect, probably should have brought a few changes of unnerwears.

LOL! I do adore Wil because he is just so 'one of us' -- chief spokesdude for 'geek is the new cool'. ;D

I missed the whole NKOTB era, alas, but can definitely relate to the teenage bedroom posterage -- *whistles innocently*

Geeks make the best partners from what I've heard. I need to stay away from Brits and Hillbillies. LOL

So, do tell, who was pictured on your wall and ceiling when you woke up every morning?

They do, indeed -- hubby and I are complete ubergeeks!

The bedroom wall? Well ... think goofy sheriff, cute brothers, arse-kicking sister and a car with a confederate flag on the roof. *cheesygrin*

*high-fives since I'm old-school* I enjoyed it. Was one of the rare shows both my brother and I watched and agreed upon. :)
