"What? That I couldn't smoke in the after life?" Mike Franks asked back. This whole death thing was getting some taking used to, especially the cute ghost of his probie's dead agent.
"No, Gibbs and Tony," Kate answered turning her head slightly so her gaze landed on the younger man standing some ways off from the grave so as to not intrude on his Boss's grief.
"What about the Probie?"
"Well that he, you know" Kate said coughing delicately.
"What? Strings that boy along? Throws him into danger knowing that DiNozzo will always be ready to follow his orders? Will forgive him no matter what? Is willing to ignore any fault or possible past or current crime that Probie might commit? Yeah I figured that out after he never said anything about me knocking him out or Probie covering for me that first time I came to DC after Gibbs was reinstated." Franks answered shaking his head.
"Actually," Kate said staring at Franks with a slightly surprised look on her face "I was talking about the fact that the two of them go at it like crazed minks every chance they get"
With that statement Kate turned to leave, smiling at the sputtering and gasps coming from the newly minted ghost behind her.
