its been awhile
i am home, and its kind of wierd. the only reason that i came home was to work this weekend, and that is where i have spent most of my time. work is different, but its ok i suppose. its still the same since they still give everybody about 8hours a week and are crappy about scheduling. but its more relaxed it seems. nobody really cares about anything that much. becky came in today, and i helped her shop for about an hour. it was excellent. people need to come in more ofen so that i can "help" them shop.
i need to find a job in east lansing pronto.
next news flash: i am almost done with david copperfield
this is the book that i have been reading since summer, and is probally the longest time that it has ever taken me to read one. this may be because its nearly 900 pages long, and because i only read before i go to bed at night. and sometimes when its cold and i skip class. i like the book a lot, even though it really isnt about anything spectacular. it just follows the life of an english boy in the mid 19th century. the funny thing about it is that it makes me think in language from that era. and sometimes in a british accent.
umm what else is new. i am still crazy sometimes, but at least it comes in spurts now instead of being a constant craziness. this is progress.
oh! todd stole my bike back. we were walking to class and we saw my bike chained up to a street light and i knew at once it was my bike. same crappy tires, 30 dollar gel seat, and rusty/missing a cap metal thing. so we called the police and they came, and i left since i had a test. todd bought some metal cutters and freed my captive bike. oh what a hero.. sighhhhhhhhhh
and now i must get back to my david copperfield and read about his adventures (or misadventures) in life.
