ok, CI this week was AWESOME! at first i was totally like, why the fuck would they write that Gorin dosen't know ASL when of course he would, but then the dreamy interpreter entered the picture and i knew why... Alex is gonna get some! it was great! There was even one scene in particular, when they were in a cafeteria and the captain comes over to eames and the interpreter and after the interpreter leaves there is a pause, and i shouted "well he's pretty good lookin'" in attempt to predict what the captain was going to say to her, and then in reality (ok, the tv show) he said "he seems really nice." i was so validated.
also, i'm not liking gorin not adhering to the constitution... for real, they really showed him as being underhanded when compared to the interpreter. for example, he refused to spy on some deaf people signing because it would be an invasion of their privacy and gorin was all pissed about that. it's way hotter when people respect rights. maybe that's why they did it that way, to really show all those people who, for whatever the fuck the reason, seem to want eames and gorin to hook up... now she has a better option.
also, flipping around late one night i saw the guy who plays the captain on charlie rose. apparently he is a superstar playwright. i had no idea. he did the 'radio show' or 'talk radio' or something like that that is getting raves in NY right now... who knew, the man does have some legitimate talent.
