i made some more bread. i think i have a new addiction.
i also planted my flowers in the new planter out on the porch that aaron built for me. it's like a long trough.
right now i'm attempting to make ensaymadas. they're not looking too good. i think the recipe i followed wasn't accurate. the dough didn't rise hardly at all. i'm not sure what they're supposed to look like pre-baked.
i pulled a tick off jewels. that was one of the grossest things i've ever done. the little bastard is in a jar, still alive after three days. it's in two baggies and a jar and it's not dead. it looks like an american dog tick (or wood tick). jewels seems ok. i called to vet to ask what to watch for. so far so good.
i need to lose about 20 lbs now. i can't believe i let myself get this big. whoops. food is too damn good. it's all this bread baking. homemade bread is the devil. the delicious devil.
the loaf in front fell in a sink full of water so it's smaller due to having to be dried and reshaped. oops.
the dough in all it's risen glory.
i let sadie out the back door one day and then couldn't find her. oh milo found her.
i have waaaaaaay too many plants now. i got some more from a man whose wife passed away. the jade is over 30 years old
more plants. all in one room.
my nasturtiums came up.
my tomato and pepper plants. you can see a little of the planter with marigolds in it.
blurry hummingbird pictures.
the hideous disgusting tick.
ok, i've bored you with enough pictures. i'm off to continue my x-files marathon. only six more seasons to go. i should be all caught up by the time i see the new movie that i hope doesn't suck.
