Get your apples here for a buck!

Funny story - a little boy was standing on Wall Street this morning dressed in depression era clothing selling apples for a dollar - not five cents, not fifty cents, but a buck.

Good times.  This whole economic crisis is so incredibly stupid.  Why are Americans stupid enough to set up an unstable financial infrastructure and expect it to work?  Stupid optimists...

I am so tired right now...thanks to a certain someone who decided to keep me up late talking on the phone about Ikea.  Ikea is awesome, don't deny it.  If you are moving somewhere and you need trendy, inexpensive furniture that you don't expect to get much life out of, go to Ikea.  It's cheap, it's easy, and it's cute.  When I move out Ikea is the place I'm going...so psyched!  Oh - and Garrett, maybe we'll just take my mom's Rav and that way I can just use her more fuel-efficient (in comparison) vehicle and your manpower to satisfy my need for trendy home decor.

I really miss my friends.  Like crazy.  Life has been so busy and stressful lately that my recent hanging-out with Tarra was too much fun...it was long needed...

I hope I can go to California in December after I graduate.  I really want to take a "last vacation" before my life of working begins...

We Know Jackson is performing this Saturday at Aquinas at 9:30...I'm looking forward to going.  I haven't been able to see them perform yet and it's been two or three years since I left Western (Chris, their pianist and vocalist, was my pianist on my solo CD a couple years ago).  Should be a good show.
