BETTER progress!

Just heard from my sweetie!  His mom's colonoscopy was clean, no more bleeding, looks like all will be well!  I am SO relieved...tears of joy are a real thing.

Hi Carol! Yes, it's a relief!

No, I'm sure he'll have to go right back to work...he didn't intend to be gone this long, of course, and though he can use family medical leave, still he'll be getting behind. And alas, he'd have to buy two one way tickets to make a stop--costs a lot more, even as things stand with his daughter's employment with one of the airlines, I think. We were fortunate to have the time we did, even as crazy as it was...

what a relief! i am getting closer to moving my dad in with us, i think. he's getting phonescam calls again, and he is too deaf to be able to deal with it properly. the sewing room is destined to be a bedroom...

J's dad has that problem, too, and keeps getting these lottery scams via email as well. He wants to believe he's won...even if he hasn't bought a chance.

Life does get complex, doesn't it...
