What happened with the hamster, and was it trying to stow away with Jon?

I am so sorry. I hope that it doesn't keep you awake during the whole flight.

It was wonderful meeting you and Jon. I'm glad that you both came back to Chicago. :)

Sorry to hear you're sick, but we were certainly happy to have you and Jon this weekend! I wish I'd had a chance to actually go up and say hello, but it never quite worked out. The hubby managed it and got a book or two signed, anyway...

Sorry I missed you, dudette! I lack the stamina of my strapping young husband and kept crawling off to our room to sleep while he entertained the masses. :)

Bummed that I didn't get to see you this time out, but it was probably better for both of us. Get well.

Ask Jon about Happy Giraffe.

OMG I WAS SO NOT FIT TO BE IN THE COMPANY OF OTHER HUMAN BEINGS. Hem hem. Bloody awful timing but I suppose it was inevitable at the end of a long and strenuous trip.

Happy Giraffe accompanied us home in the taxi, along with his mate, Drug-Addled Giraffe.

Poor you! Do take a lot of good cold drugs, those that make you feel all warm and fuzzy during the flight. And don't forget some nose spray a before the landing!

I was going to take a cough suppressant, but being the paranoid creature that I am, I looked it up online first and discovered that when combined with my antidepressant it causes your brain to melt out through your nose.
