Downloaded (legally!) the Torchwood soundtrack album from Silva Screen. It's stunning - emotional strings-o-rama. Lots of heart-wrenching stuff around Owen and Tosh and their hard, sad lives. But it was Captain Jack's Theme, which I recognised at once but hadn't realised was specifically his, which poked me in the heart. The show would be so much ( Read more... )

Have you found the bit in the DVD special features where the composer tells you what the lyrics to Jack's Theme are?

Given that the lyrics to the TW theme itself are, quite obviously, "Wiggle wiggle wiggle!", I shudder to think!

The same day you posted this, I bought the soundtrack myself. God I love Murray Gold and Ben Foster!

I now have the style of music I want for the audio miniseries we're starting work on next year (our writer's just finished the first draft of episode 6 [of 12]!). So many of the scenes our writer has written or proposed come to life when I'm listening to that soundtrack! *swoon*

Jon found the lyrics to Cpt. Jack's theme, as confessed on the DVD by Ben Foster: "Here he comes on a ruddy great tractor". lolololololol
