Hugh Laurie, on the other hand, is stuck as a famous celebrity and even worse, as a subject of tabloid speculation. I can only imagine how much worse he feels when his natural shyness or paranoia--ends up not being paranoid at all.
If there were any message I'd wish for him to have, it would be that any fan or anti-fan knows less about him than his milkman, and clutching his photo no more gives them a piece of his soul than it gives them an iota of his acting talent. :P
