UGH!
I swear to God, Seattle city management has been flushed down the freaking TOILET.
SO they're trying out a new company for waste management.
In other words, they're getting someone else to pick up garbage and recycling.
Supposedly they advertised themselves to the city saying that we could get rid of the dumpsters that block the alleyways (especially downtown) and that they would pick up every day, several times a day, in certain areas of downtown.
They haven't.
They added more things that you're allowed to put in the yard waste/compost. Isn't that peachy?
Yet, after a fucking MONTH, they have yet to give me the correct size of yard waste can. Apparently they were looking for it yesterday to trade it out.
My pick up day is MONDAY. Why the fuck would I leave it on the parking strip AGAIN, when I left it there for 3 weeks and they did nothing?!? I need to use it!
But to top it off, like a fucking cherry:
I was outside talking to T just before he was leaving for work. I look over and wonder where the trash can is. So I ask T. He said he thought I brought it up.
OH NO. I didn't bring it up. I can barely walk up my driveway let alone towing anything along with me.
Waste Management stole my garbage can.
So now I have a teeny tiny compost can that they want back (that I threw and kicked down the driveway sideways - fuck them)
and no garbage can. And we pay money for this shit?! UGH!
I guess I could throw it all in the fucking recycling can and let them sort it the fuck out.
At least they let me keep that.
