Two things
I started my new job today. My first rotation is in Dairy. I filled the shelves with juice, marked down yoghurt and wasted off damaged goods. Next week I'll be in Fresh Produce. Nick, the manager, looks like an interesting kinda guy. The store is HUGE, and nobody knows each other. It's rather cold in that respect. The OIC is nice though, which makes for a change.
Last night I went and saw Eagles of Death Metal at The Palace. I say EODM loosely because only one half of the band was there. I knew some time before that Josh wasn't gonna show up, but I was still really annoyed that he doesn't join the tours. I can't remember the last time he toured with the band. Why does he think he doesn't have to show up to the gigs!?
Anyway, Jesse more than made up for it. He joins Perry Farrell as being one of the most enigmatic front men. He had me mesmerised for the entire show. And he was totally getting off on the audience. Great show. Shit sound, not unusual for The Palace. Oh and Joey Castillo. Drumming machine.
