I have to tell you, I went and saw Janeane Garafalo the other night. She was fantastic. Diminutive in size, she made up for it in personality. I felt like I was on her couch and we were just having a coffee and a chat. And she's hilarious. I was worried she wouldn't be funny, but apparently she's been doing stand-up since 1985.
I was stunned when she started talking about her eating habits because they are exactly like mine. It's not only comforting to hear someone else is like me, but it opened my eyes to what I do exactly. Carla saw it too, and it made her happy to talk about it with me after the show.
Ah, Janeane. She was so awesome.
In other news, I got some sort of silly promotion. I leave my store on April 24, and head to Victoria Gardens. A nice, large, busy store. Yikes. It's hard to describe what my new job entails. I'm a retail leader; basically I'm training in every department so that one day I can run a store. It means more hours, more responsibility, and climbing my way to the top again, but I got a shit awesome pay rise, and I'm up for the challenge.
