stewart-colbert '08: truthiness, justice and the american way
so a recap of the last week or so:
-i got a new car...an '02 Saturn SL2 manual. it's electric blue and it's got a sunroof and the stereo actually works :) it rocks. i am currently taking applications for peoples wanting to learn how to drive a stick, since now i have one that isn't on the verge of dying and now the clutch isn't tighter than a virgin on her wedding night :)
-friday night josh mj and i saw the prestige, which was freaking AWESOME. except mj has no idea how loud he is and he talks a lot, very loudly.
-last weekend we went to david's 'rents cabin and had us a good time. among the highlights; we discovered a dead mouse in the kitchen sink, the boys exhausted their entire supply of BBs, we watched MI3 and i got bit by something A LOT. there are little red bumps all over my right arm.
-this weekend I am going to ocean city with the church middle schoolers for a retreat. having doubts about whether it was a good idea or not, but i'm sure i'll have a good time once i get down there. gone friday-sunday night, so if you're in town this weekend i'm sorry.
-went to math after skipping a solid two weeks of class and my teacher totally did not yell at me :) i was freaking out. however, in order to pass i now have to make sure i turn in EVERYTHING for the rest of the semester.
-currently am writing a paper on bipolar disorder for anatomy & physiology, will post when done. glad i decided to do bipolar, i learned a lot.
-skipped work on monday. didn't call in or pretend to be sick, just didn't show up (needed to work on aforementioned a&p paper, due thursday and i hadn't done the research yet). i was supposed to be in training...scared my boss is gonna write me up tomorrow.
