Had a Lady MacBeth meeting with Fontenelli. Semi-productive. Always interesting.
Also experienced the easiest Italian buerocracy. With only a small wait and a signiture, I got my 250 euros from the Alitalia office in Cadorna. woohoo!
Also a short talk with Amos, who loves the activity. Trying to get advice about Lake Como for Thursday. He didn't have much. It would be fun to have his, or some one else company. Trying to decided if I should invite Nimesh. Prorbably won't althogh we have talked about getting together for an ape.
Went to a Verdi Orchestra Concert this evening: Belioz, Harold in Italy (play and conducted by Yuri Bashmet) and Tchaikovsky 5th (not 4th), also conducted by Bashmat. Definitely disagree with the idea of his conducting the first have. Very laborious. There was a moment of science before the concert. Wonder what that was all about.
I was with Monaco, but we didn’t get gelato afterward. Just as well to go home.
