The riots that have been taking place in Paris over the past week or so have spread to other French cities, including Dijon. I hope Mandy's OK :oS. She's sent me a few texts this weekend so I know she must be personally OK, but it still can't be very nice to have that kind of thing going on where you live. And there was me thinking society was getting more tolerant. And if not, it damn well should be.
I know I'm naive and optimistic about human nature sometimes, and it makes me more disappointed when things like this happen in the world, but come on, surely deep down every single human being knows that mindless violence and prejudices don't solve a single thing and just breed more hatred?
