all very splendid but NO GLASTONBURY?!?! (after they hinted they'd be doing it not once but twice...sniff)
Note to ez_oz - have fun at the gig. hope they play well.
So yeah...t'internets are broken at our place so I'm on campus doing a swift update. Will be decamping to the parental abode for a weekend, possibly longer. Jurisprudence wasn't so bad actually, nice big desks in Sackville Street even if those letters on the UMIST lifts still confuse me (keep thinking floor B is the ground floor when it's floor ME, for 'mezzanine'.)
Took some nice photos a) of roses growing in our garden and b) people lounging in Piccadilly Gardens on my way back from Pathways - (new website went up yesterday, clicky and you can see what all my three bosses (Jane, May, Photo-Matt) look like!) which I shall upload to Flickr when I actually have a working t'internet connection. Off to work for Matt now actually...better get a move on.
It was also Mandy's birthday on Wednesday, we sat and ate cake and watched the Champions' League final (congratulations Liverpool, even I have to admit!), and there's a party for her and Sam tonight (well, a party, a nice meal out and no doubt lots of wine.)
