All-State fun!
This past weekend all of a sudden turned into All-State overload!
First, I went to the Kennedy Center to see Kristen & Logan (and Traverse City Central's Choir) perform for a special Memorial Day concert. There were 8 total choirs plus a wind symphony, and Mickey Rooney was in attendance to receive a special award for entertaining troops during WWII. All in all, a really amazing concert!
Then, out of nowhere, I got a call from Courtney that she was back in the states and hanging out at the Smithsonian! Surprise!
We went and ate Mexican food because she dearly missed it.
