Wolf in the Snow
by Matthew Cordell
A girl finds a baby wolf in the snow and manages to return it to its mother and pack without getting attacked. But when she can't make it home, the wolves return the favor and call out so her family can find her. Awwwww!
The illustrations were gorgeous--wispy and stark while being charming at the same time. I loved the heartwarming story, which was told only through illustrations and had so much character and sweetness.
I picked this up at the library during my volunteer shift; couldn't resist, and I'm glad I didn't.
