I spotted this book at the library, and knew at once this was a book I had to read because my family is all about cairn terriers. The story is about a dog named "Murphy stop that!" (LOL) who takes a trip to the big city with his family. He's not sure at first he likes it, because it's much different. But then he gets to visit a shop full of dog treats and plays in the dog park. At the first opportunity, he runs free, because that's what cairn terriers do (LOL). Luckily, his family finds him at the animal shelter and he goes back home with them. Happy ending.
I loved how accurate this was while also being incredibly adorable. The illustrations were sweet, and who doesn't like a happy ending?
