Doctor Who Quiz Book 3
by the BBC
http://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/7932071 I had my father bring this book over to me this weekend so that I could read this book during my lunch breaks this week in enough time to let melydia borrow it on Sunday.
I found some of the quizzes easy while others were difficult. The quizzes all revolve around Series 3, which I haven't watched in years, so some of the details were not fresh on my mind. But I found the episode-specific quizzes to be easier than some of the more general ones. The ones I found the hardest were the two quizzes where the questions had several items and I had to figure out which was the odd one out. I was bad at guessing the reason certain things should be the odd one out. For example:
The Face of Boe, Captain Jack, Richard Lazarus, Cassandra
I chose Captain Jack because he was the only one who survived the season alive, though the others all had attempts at immortality and spectacular death scenes. The book told me the answer was Lazarus because the others had met both the Ninth and Tenth doctors. So, yeah, I wasn't so good at those questions. And some of the other details were hard to remember.
But even though I got some questions wrong, it was fun to take every one of these quizzes. How wonderful to dive into the world of Doctor Who through this book. I laughed a few times and felt silly for getting some answers wrong. it was a fun read.
Oh, but I could have done without sixteen questions about the Toclafane. LOL
