The Rite totally hits the spot for "pretty but not too bright." I totally lost it at Il Mulo. DEMON MULE. BECAUSE WE CAN. IDEK.

Ohh Wanted, I loved that movie for its cheese. MYSTICAL LOOM OF DESTINY WTFFFFF. And then President God says "motherfucker." This is the best thing. I wish getting angry gave me super assassin powers, but man...I'm pretty sure Wesley's exit from the office is pretty much every peon's dream.

and seriously, tell me what was up with the nails? were they cross nails? why did the demons spit them up? (i'm too lazy to go look up catholic liturgy, so if you don't know, don't worry, but i figure you've seen more exorcism movies than i)

also, yes DUDE IT'S BINARY CODE IN THE WEAVE don't you know? that's like the fundamental code of life!!walksj!

and yes, the exit really is. especially with special keyboard fuck you ness. so awesome. ;)

Nails and pins aren't exactly unusual in possession lore (and witchcraft, iirc?), it's just not something that turns up in movies a whole lot. I don't think they're supposed to be cross nails because they're too small and there's too many. Uhhh if you get a chance to see The Exorcism of Emily Rose, it's pretty much mental illness vs evil in a courtroom drama that's kinda like a crash course of exoricst...stuff. It's a neat movie, but it irritates me in that the audience are supposed to make up their own minds about what "really" happened rather than the movie itself coming down on one side or the other.
