plain jane
i decided to stop wearing make-up for lent this year. the first few days i kept looking in the mirror, thinking i looked ugly and wondering how much make-up i could wear and somehow justify it as "not wearing make-up." so i prayed that god would make my heart more beautiful. then, last night one of my supervisors at work followed me up the stairs as i was leaving phonathon and asked me to get coffee with him this week. i don't really know him, and honestly, i was a little creeped out, but that was sweet of the lord to honor my decision. and cory, a guy in my wellness class, called with a question about class and we ended up having a really nice talk. probably nothing there, but i feel like god answered my prayer.
