Today I Purchased a navy blue skirt. I love navy blue, it has such greater depth than black. I know a girl who always seems to wear black. She's not a "goth", she just wears black vests and cardigans and trousers and the like. I often wonder if it's a conscious decision. She had some of her laundry drying on a clothes horse and every item was black, including her underwear. Perhaps I should suggest navy blue to her.
I also found a beautiful floral cardigan, cream with purple blossoms and ruched sleeves. It has a lovely lot of shell-like buttons. I adore clothing with excessive amounts of buttons. Especially if they're used on tweed or tartan or thick wool. It's a wonderful effect, stifled sexulaity, hiding the wonders of curves and skin beneath the fabric.
Rob and I then went on to purchase a feather duster and rubber gloves and I have had a therepeutic evening of cleaning. The top floor is beginning to feel like home now. We have found a sofa and we're getting a television set for the living room. Rob and James are going to build a coffee table and a window box, so that I can grow mint in the skylight window.
I think i'll go swimming tomorrow, I haven't been since Carly, Sara and I took the twins last week, and I feel in need of some exercise induced endorphins.
I haven't heard this song in years, I taped it off the radio and played it to death.
