Back from beyond...

Greetings everyone...

Okies, I know I am a slacker...and that I need to update more...and that I owe everyone loads of emails. So please accept my deepest apologies and know that I submit myself to whatever punishments you deem fit.

Where to begin with the changes of the past half year. Not in Korea anymore. Now living in Colorado, Centennial to be exact. It is a suburb on the south side of Denver. Found a cute little ranch with a full basement. It is brick with green and white trim accents. The upstairs has two bedrooms, which are the master bedroom and the nursery. It also has the kitchen/dining area and a long front room, which has become our formal sitting room.

Downstairs are another two bedrooms, for Jonathan and a guest. There is also a large common room that has the TV and books in it and another large room that is a laundry/den/SCA room. Nice yard with a water feature...two waterfalls and a koi pond...and a garden. Lots of aspen trees, though planning on demolishing a few of those and putting in fruit trees.

Yes, if some of you caught it, I did mention a nursery. It is because, suprise of suprises, I am expecting again. Yep, you could say that Crispy did his duty. Took us by suprise at first, but now both of us are as pleased as punch. So sometime early June we will welcome and addition.

There is an upside and a downside to the due date. Good news is that Crispy gets to miss the pregnancy mood swings, cravings, morning sickness, and swollen ankles. Bad news is that he gets to miss the pregnancy mood swings, cravings, you get the idea. Uncle Sam, in his ultimate wisdom, decided to send Crispy on another world trip, this time to Iraq, only thre months after getting here. The result is that though the boxes are out of the house, there are still piles in some of the rooms. I am getting through them slowly though and should be finished by May.

It was really cool, though, to be able to paint the walls. We have two that are bright red, a whole room that is peach and chocolate brown, and another that is white with a ragged on light green glaze. Then there is Jonathan's room. His room is actually two, the inner being the bedroom and the outer a toy room/library. In both rooms, the bottom half is gold with cream sponged over it. In the bedroom, it is royal blue with stars on the top half. The outer room is a green-gray with clouds. There are borders to put up in both rooms, just haven't gotten there yet.

Well, the last piece of news is my new job. Have Bachelors of Arts degrees in History and Asian Studies. Do I get a job related to my degree? Noooooo....I slave for over 12 years to get that piece of paper and then throw it all away to do...duh duh duh...insurance claims. Yep, I am back to the same thing I did in Tucson. Good news is this time I have a much better boss (would say I love him but that is just wrong...but he is the bomb) and am not working for an insurance company. I work for Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIMCO) and they have an internal insurance department. Who knows, one day maybe I will be a Senior VP there. For now, I will stay in my four person department having fun at what I do.

Think I have droned on enough for now, so I am going to sign off and hope to hear from all of you soon!

*hugs*
