Musings from Korea

Dec 06, 2004 23:16

Just got back from Japan...it was wonderful. We had a great time, though the country is extremely expensive. Fell in love with the rice cakes, triangle shaped sandwiches of filling, rice and seaweed. MMMmmmm. Good thing they sell them in Korea as well.

Went to Tokyo Disney, so now I can claim to have visited all the theme parks (okay, I am a bit juvenile). At least until Hong Kong Disney opens on Sept 13 of next year. Already have that one on my list of vacation spots.

Lots of pictures. I will upload them to my yahoo album in the next few days. I do not want to take up large amounts of space here. There is one of note. Here is the link. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/student_kate/detail?.dir=8518&.dnm=7d3a.jpg&.src=ph This pic sums up the story of my life here in the Far East. These were even on the bullet train from Osaka to Tokyo. Imagine traveling at 180mph and balancing yourself to use one of these.

Once again, I will leave you with a few quizzes borrowed from the journals of sironamcgregor and ssimon:

You Are Pumpkin Pie

Even when people are full - they make room for you.
Good or bad, your smell is most likely to arouse a man.

What Part of Thanksgiving Are You?

You are 73% Libra

How much do you match your zodiac sign?

Have a great night!
