walked outta culinary school today because I was without a doubt more qualified than the teachers, and personally offened by how the other 27 students feared their knife kits. FEAR! I was on this 'finish what you start' kick, thinking I'd go back and finish up cooking school, but really now, $20,000 to get a piece of paper proving I know what I already know? no, no. Back to the drawing board, back down to earth. Angry that life isn't as smooth or easy as I imagined it would be, but inspired by this annoyance, rather than my usual discouraged.

anyone know their way around UCLA? I've got a class this saturday and fdon't know diddly 'bout the campus...
