Spilled Laughter

Jan 04, 2011 17:04

My life's laughter spilled
Against lightly pursed lips

No barrier against the shine

Inside my eyes

Think me selfish for

A secret

I wish to keep

Think me naive

The rose color in my cheeks

I blush though I

Find no guilt

A bubble within me, indecent

Surfacing decadent feeling

Perfection weeping through me

As the bubble bursts

Strength growing

Heart singing

A flutter of colorful wings in

The heat of my body

Melting the ice of an abused heart

There is new glory, new excitement

Still shouldering ties

Hearing the fragile glass shatter

Old glass, old ties

I can see clearer without

Breathing easier in the concept

of fresh life

poetry, happy
