Desktop Meme
I was really hoping to have another update up by now, but real life has been very busy. I just brought a place in my old home town and am moving back. While I'll miss my friends here like crazy, my friends there are happy to have me back :)
In the meantime, here's a meme:

This was the view from the place I stayed at in Marignolle (which is about ten minutes from the edge of Florence) at around 8pm just as the sun was beginning to set. Every evening I would sit on the balcony with a glass of Chianti and watch the spectacular sunset with the Tuscan hills as the backdrop and the turning on of the lights in Florence as it's foreground. Truthfully I don't feel the photos even do the sight justice, but it certainly helps trigger my memory. Aside from the sheer beauty of those moments, it reminds me to be grateful that I was able to travel to this incredible place. I felt very at peace and happy there, and seeing it reminds me that feeling like that is possible.
