When my romantic supsense book TRACE ELEMENTS was released, I included the "pilot episode" for the main character's TV show as bonus material at the back of the book. Why? Because Nikki Gower, an actress who plays a kick ass FBI agent in the series, also helps solve a real case with the FBI in the book, and for inspiration, she draws on her TV character's personality and experience. Believe me, this annoys the real FBI agent -- Josh Saxon, soon to be her love interest -- to no end. As a result we hear all about the TV show, where fake agent Annika Trace and reclusive scientist Cole Ember solve outlandish crimes.
Now that book two -- RANDOM ELEMENTS -- is about to be released, we've posted another episode on the publisher's website along with the pilot episode. So if you'd like a complimentary taste of the TV show, please check it out. In this particular episode, Annika Trace is bitten by a deadly spider and Cole races for the cure. It's an important turning point for them and is aptly titled "Episode Seven: First Kiss?"
I hope you enjoy it. And wait until you see the cover for RANDOM ELEMENTS in a few weeks. Here's the link for the free episodes:
