Woooo, today. More skating. My hands hurt so much right now from being cold all day combined with excessive clapping. I got to the arena just as the mens practice was ending. Patrick Chan skated back out to the center to take a bow. Then, the ladies free skate was on. 18 competitors. Gaaaah. I don't even remember most of them. Jessica kinda bombed it but the people sitting near me had nice things to say about her. She ended up in 6th, not bad, all things considered. The second place finisher, Myriane Samson got a standing ovation, great skate. Cynthia won, not surprising but congrats to her. She deserved it.

After that, looong break. I meandered around the concourse for a while. Spotted Victor Kraatz taking photos with fans before rushing off behind the curtain. The top three dance teams were signing autos. Had Tessa and Scott been there, I'd have been all over that shit but alas. Eventually, I went back to my seat and watched the pairs practice.

The mens short was next. There were 17 skaters but it didn't seem nearly as long and drawn out as the ladies had been. So many great skaters! Shawn Sawyer totally killed it. I love him! He's so freakin' bendy. Say what you want about Patrick Chan but the dude is a great skater. He was just floating over the ice. Everyone was on their feet for him. He has a commanding lead.

There was a shorter break next. More wandering the concourse. PChan was taking photos with fans by the curtain. I enjoy just standing back and watching people walk by. It amused me until I decided to go sit down for the pairs free. The final flight were all great. Meagan and Eric, after so much disappointment, came back today and freakin' NAILED IT! So so so happy for them!! Meagan was bouncing on her skates, she was so happy. I adore Paige and Rudi but they had some freak accidents, like Rudi just randomly falling. I've seen Kirsten and Dylan skate that LP better but they were ahead in the short and didn't make any terrible errors. They won, with the crowd on their feet again.

One more day and then I can stop sitting in a cramped seat, under a cold air vent for like, 12 hours a day.
