Kate,
I'm Night, the woman who wrote the post to which you referred. And you are of course quite perceptive to recognize that the most likely explanation for my blog's disappearance was discovery by my husband. Actually, I dodged the bullet to a degree... He found my SL Name, and I pulled my blog as a precaution. As my friend Botgirl points out with unflinching directness, this is a temporary reprieve at best.
But Kate, I am so torn. I have taken several weeks off SL entirely, but have recently returned. I'm rebuilding my blog, as ive determined that the creative outlet it provides is one of the biggest things I'm lacking in my RL. But i'm left with the pressing, painful question: Is a SL that I could leave entirely open to my RL partner one that I really want to have? And if not, will I leave my SL, or continue to hide it from my spouse? I have no answers yet, and can only hope that you and readers will be quicker to identify with my indecision and turmoil than to condemn me for my weakness.
I'll let you know when my new blog is up. Thanks for your strength and for your insightful work.

I'm really glad to hear that you'll have a new blog before long!
Your problem sounds very painful to work through. :( I hope your marriage is a happy one - or if it isn't that you can find a way to revitalize it, or support to let it go. I know it's a lot easier to point out places where our lives are out of balance than to come up with good solutions, but I hope you find yours soon!
