Yeah, 'fraid so :( I could I suppose, but seeing as it was only cos Amy told me that she was thinking of going for it that I knew about it at all, I'd feel like a real bitch to go for it then, she is kind of a friend even though I haven't known her long and it would just feel wrong.
That's really interesting about the spider monkeys. I'm guessing you're in the US? The big thing here was leopards etc til the DWA came in so people released them and now they live on the moors XD The only thing that puts me off the spider monkeys at the zoo is the godawful smell and mess in the mornings, I did think the first time I cleaned em that people contemplating getting exotic pets should be made to clean them out first - that would put a good 70% off I reckon - not that I have anything against ethical private collectors (I know such a thing is debatable) but people who want a furry baby really never know what they're getting. I dunno if these ones bite though cos they're always locked out when we clean them. I know the zoo classes them as "potentially dangerous".
