Old and bad. I love it when people post arrogant MoveOn.org type chain e-mails in their LiveJournals for the sake of shameless self-promotion ( ... )

The fact that you reposted this one comment four times says something about how childish yoiu really are. Since when is a freaking Livejournal joke self-promotion? I love to observe you in the process of making yourself look the fool in your endless social posturing. Online, no less. It's pretty good entertainment... but I do believe you could do better.

Better luck next time.

I didn't repost this one comment four times, first off.

This isn't a joke, as most jokes need to be funny.

Why would I attack you if I was only pursuing social posturing? You're on the bottom of the food chain, there's no incentive whatsoever.

Well, what more can you expect than a bad writer who doubles as an obnoxious feminist.

OUCH. Bottom of the food chain.
Popi, you're really reaching at this point. You've run out of cutting wit! And I thought it would never happen.

PS: I got the same comment written +rewritten at LEAST three times, possibly four.

I've run out of cutting wit? Say it isn't so.

NB: No, you didn't. If anything, it was the same comment posted four times consecutively.

By the way, I'd like it if you'd address any of the issues I brought up in my original post in this entry. Thanks.

Issues you brought up in your orginal post? Like that I'm fat and ugly?

Consider it addressed!

No, this one ( ... )

All I caught in that was that you apparently have "a legitimate moral opposition to homosexuality," and that, my friend, I do not understand. Perhaps you can explain? I can't address the rest of it as of now, perhaps we can take this up another time.

So much love,
KATE.

If you think something is evil and wrong, especially if it is explicity stated in your faith that this particular behavior is immoral, I consider this to be a legitimate moral opposition.

However, it should be noted that this does not give you a right to impose your faith on others, especially in a secular society.

Because I'm not exactly a "woman of faith" myself, I'm in no place to question your beliefs, even though I can't understand them.

I respect your ability to restrain yourself from imposing your personal beliefs on everyone else, though. That particular skill seems to be lacking in the world as of late.

Er. Those aren't my beliefs. I was just, playing Devil's advocate.

Er. I'll stop now.

Popi, I'm not attacking you or being a jerk or anything, or at least I am trying not to be in this comment. But, if you're only playing Devil's advocate, isn't it going a little far to say that she should go to a Central European socialist hellhole? I'm actually just curious, so don't take offense (preferably).

I wasn't directing it towards her in particular. It was more of an off-the-cuff general remark. Sorry if it was interpreted that way.

That... doesn't even make sense?

"People who hate our country and our presidents for ridiculous asinine reasons, especially people under the age of 18, deserve to be stripped of all voting privileges and should be sent to some Central European socialist hellhole where they belong."

I wasn't directing it towards you particular.
