Secret Santa
Dear Secret Santa,
it's been a long time since I took part in Yuletide so I'll just be happy to get anything from you, no matter what fandom or genre you choose.:) I love a good plotty story but I also like character pieces. I have very few squicks (mpreg is one of them). Now to the fandoms:
1. War Horse: I absolutely loved the play and hated the movie which, to me, failed completely to show the wonderful friendship between a boy and his horse. There was one good part, however - the one with the dashing British officers played by dashing British actors, so I'd like a story about them. It can be set before, during or after the movie, it can be gen or slash, it can have an unhappy ending or be completely AU.
2. Queer as Folk UK - I love the show and both characters. Again, it can be set before, during or after the series, it can be a frienship story or a story where they finally get together just as long as they are both in character.
3. Smash - it's a bit of a guilty pleasure.:) I'd love to get anything Ivy, Tom or Derek-centric. You can write about all of them or just one of them, het or slash or gen. I would be interested to read something exploring Derek and Ivy's relationship or the demise of Tom and Derek's friendship or about anything really. I don't like Karen very much but if you want to include her, I have no objections (no character-bashing, please).
4. Sunne in Spleandour - I'd love to read something about the brothers (both of them or either of them). Another character that fascinated me in the novel was Elizabeth Woodville, though I know she is not listed. Oh, and no incest please (I know that technically, Richard and Anne are rather closely related so avoiding incest in a Plantagenet-centric story is practically impossible, but no sibling-incest, please).
As usual, these are more like guidlines than actual requirements, and I'll be happy with anything you choose to write in any of these wonderful fandoms.
