apparently more cynical about my representative governments than I realized
Because I hadn't even been bothering to keep track of the status of the legislation to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"-I just assumed Congress would never get its act together enough and it'd end up in a drawn-out court battle.
I am so very glad to be wrong.
