Day 08 - A precious item
As much as I adore my kitty boys *points to icon*, I am aware that I am more likely to be their possession, so I have to choose something else.
So it's my guitar.

The very first Major Purchase I ever made, waaaaay back when I was in high school (yes, they had high school even that far back in time). It was 1979 and it was my graduation present to myself. I'd gone in to the guitar shop to play, caress and otherwise admire the guitar for at least 6 months; the very moment I'd saved enough to buy it, I had the cash ($400!) in hand. I was very proud of myself for managing to negotiate a sweet upgraded hard-shell case, strap, strings and picks into the bargain.
I don't play that much any more, but I have to say that when I do, my guitar sounds sweeter than my rusty fingers would allow on any other instrument.
