Does anyone know how to say "hip replacement" in Italian? Protesi all'anca is what I've been able to suss out via Google. Does that even come close? I figured I should be able to explain why I'm setting off all the alarms as I trundle through security next month when Mom takes Middle Daughter and me to Italy. I mean I could just drop trou and show

Although, running around Google, and looking at images in particular, I see protesi d'anca as the most common. (Same idea, but the preposition is di rather than a in most cases.)
