Began the holiday baking blitz today. I luuurrrve cooking and the next six weeks or so should be full of it.

Today I made turkey stock (to use for gravy and for the stuffing -- or do you call it "dressing"? Pictures may come later, if everything comes out well), 3-berry bran muffins (from a mix) and corn bread (from scratch; to be used for stuffing) today. Also got my hair trimmed, did all the laundry and made multiple trips to the grocery store (seriously, where IS my brain these days? I had to make THREE separate trips to get what I needed today!).
I still have three different kinds of scones to make (fortunately, I'm using a really yummy mix), and for some reason that makes NO sense at all, I decided to make chicken Cordon Bleu for supper tomorrow night. 'cause, you know, I'm not going to be cooking at all for the foreseeable future... Thanks to
laced_more for convincing me that I don't need to make home-made soup this week on top of everything else.
Hmmm, I still need to prep the frittata for Thursday morning. Better get some sleep!
