Deathly Hallows Seven Years Anniversary
I can't really believe it's been seven years already since the last book came out.
A lot has changed, but I'm thankful that Harry's magical world hasn't really ended.
We still got Pottermore and the upcoming Harry play, and of course the Fantastic Beasts and where to find them.
Still seven years. What wonderful memories that came from that special july 21,2007, and more wonderful memories coming.
So it's wasn't the end really.
I wanted to bring two things up on this most wonderful anniversary
first, while not book-related per say, I think these videos of the last day of filming of the hp films still feels very appropriate and poignant for today. I think the emotions expressed there are very similar to what we felt as the books themselves came to a close:
Also, Mudblood428, one of the best harry potter fanartists from the height of the harry potter years, made a post to celebrate the Deathly Hallows anniversary, and it's a beautiful, moving post with the added bonus of new harry potter art from her after so many years:
