Today is Liz and Nel’s Wedding Anniversary. As you know I have a habit of forgetting time. I was in the wedding so you would think I would remember right? Not a chance. I believe it is now 15 years but I am not sure. I just sent her an anniversary e-card. I talked with her yesterday and she will either be coming in the next couple of days to drop of Bryan and Gina’s gift to Cheryl who will be here for the Appraisal on Tuesday.
I heard from Jim this morning. He invited me down for dinner on Saturday after thanksgiving. I would come back that Sunday. He says he would make dinner and then we would have brunch and I would come home that afternoon. To be honest I don’t like going anywhere for one day and then turning around and coming back. I should clarify anywhere out of state. Unfortunately, it’s a fact of life that I have had to come to accept with my brother.
Dave sent me a possible Condo and it’s about 6 miles from here. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and 1300 square feet. It has an upstairs and he figured I could use just the downstairs. I remember what Cheryl told me how her MIL has wasted space. I tried to explain it to him but I think he was annoyed. This is why I am beginning to think I should not say anything. They don’t get it. People will send me just anything. I should be grateful they are trying to help but it’s more of annoyance.
Just before lunch I started to clean the downstairs but stopped many times to hang out and to talk with Liz. We talked about finances and what I will be able to get cleared out etc. Liz also mentioned A Stop and Shop store was closing. Luckily it is not in Milford (we have two in the city). However, I have a supervisor and several coworkers that live in that area.
It is now after 6. I ended up stopping cleaning the house around 4. I managed to get the kitchen and bathroom and living room done. Unfortunately, the sponge on the mop fell off the mop handle. I probably will have to get another one.
I have been watching the Walton’s marathon. I have seen it a billion times. I wonder how they don’t age in the movies. They all look the same well maybe not.
